From modular design to the first print

Decisions and development

The 18 October review connects mechanical design and fabrication: rails, joints and accessories in the V1.0-RC1 library. The local package contains 53 catalogue models, M2.5 and M3 variants, STL and STEP exports and assembly documentation.

The supplied report records 53 watertight meshes and valid BREP geometries. Reference assemblies pass interference checks. The photograph shows a print in progress; the CAD image shows a parts plate for the demonstration frame. The web catalogue is in preparation.

On 24 October, a new direction emerges: MATRIX, a modular base with interchangeable 3D-printed, aluminium or wood covers. The proposal explores different formats and expansion through 3U modules. It remains a design concept, without confirmed fabrication or compatibility.
