Decisions and development
From 21 to 24 October, K8 moves from design files to the workbench. The R1 package documents a 200 × 80 × 65 mm chassis, a monoblock option and a ten-part kit with a removable roof and electronics tray. It includes STL, STEP, 3MF plates and M3 insert coupons.
The week adds TT motor adapters, suspension arms, axle supports and front shock towers. The photograph shows the actual assembly in progress; the CAD exploded view belongs to the R1 kit. Each part is being matched to the available components and checked for fit before final assembly.
